Top-level maps of Mars

Spatial Aspect project includes following top-level maps for Mars:

Mars Nomenclature

The map uses Digital Elevation Model (DEM) on its background. The DEM derived from data of Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA) instrument of Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) mission and has resolution 1/128°.

Mars North Pole Nomenclature

The map uses DEM on its background, composed from data of MOLA instrument with variable resolution from 460m to 115m.

Mars South Pole Nomenclature

The map uses DEM on its background, composed from data of MOLA instrument with variable resolution from 460m to 115m.
